friendly) practices throughout the Asia Pacific spa industry
To promote & conserve natural resources by suggesting how to
measure and improve
the Ecological, Carbon, & Water Footprint of energy & water
consumption & where
possible encourage the introduction of Clean & Renewable energy &
water sources
& resources.
To suggest how to measure, minimize & efficiently manage waste
production,
consumption & disposal & do our part towards encouraging spas to
the point of Zero
Waste.
To suggest products, materials & equipment from Carbon Responsible,
Socially
conscious, Fair Trade & Earth friendly sources, whose use, wherever
possible, have
positive impacts on people, profit & the planet.
To acknowledge local & regional differences in Wellness &
Responsible Spa practices
by encouraging & promoting local programs & strategies designed to
improve the
overall Ecological (including Carbon) & Water footprint of our
organization, partner
organizations & local communities.
To openly communicate & share our One Planet Wellness &
Responsible Business
policies & practices to our stakeholders & the general public.
To provide our volunteers & partners with the awareness of training
resources required
to meet our defined objectives & targets.
To comply with all known local, national & international
Responsible Development &
Wellness legislation
To monitor & record our Responsible Business & One Planet
Wellness programs &
strategies & continue to improve our overall Ecological (including
Carbon) & Water
Footprint on an annual basis, & compare performance with our policies,
objectives &
targets (“You cannot manage what you do not measure”).
